Our little oasis

We decided to get a cabin at Branson so we could spread out and the kids could run around. It's not quite as big as we expected but the view is incredible.

When we first driving to our cabin we began to wonder what we had gotten ourselves into. We kept driving further from 'civilization' and then the directions had us travel off-road onto a washed out tree-hugging gravel road.

What we found was a completely secluded cabin with the nearest neighbor no where in sight or sound.

And again, the view is incredible. It's a little cool in the mornings and evenings but I don't care. I just put on my jacket and sit outside anyway!

We have 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and an awkward living room. We have a huge round fireplace that splits the living room. So we can't see each other when we sit around the living room. But every bedroom and living room have patio doors that lead to 2 decks overlooking Table Rock Lake. I have my own 'apartment' downstairs. But there is very little insulation between the floors. I hear bump, thump, squeak, squeak whenever they walk around.
